CAUTION: NEVER MIX:

THIS:

AND:
OR YOU MAY END UP WITH THIS:

Good thing I don't bother with manicures or sewing over my finger would have ruined it. After several attempts by first me and then the ER doc to pull the needle out with forceps and other tools, he finally yanked it out with pliers. It broke off at the top of my nail and extended through the bottom of my finger. I'm good to go now, and will be watching America's Got Talent with my knitting from now on.

Good Grief Teri! How in the world did you do that. Ouch!

Youch! But, they were good and hunky!! (not worth a needle to the finger. . . though!)

Teri,

Thanks for posting the video! I wasn't watching anything that interesting when I ran the machine needle through my finger and the nail. Doesn't take much distraction, does it?

Oh ouch.

Ouchy ouchy ouchy.

The things we do for our hobby, eh? I've sewn through my finger with the sewing machine, but never gotten the needle stuck.

I've been pinched by the hopping foot on my longarm, and I've trimmed off the tip of a finger with the rotary cutter. That last one did require a trip to the ER....

You have my complete and utter sympathy.

Holy cow! I can't believe you sewed through your finger! You sure sound upbeat despite it, though; I think I'd be milking this injury for all the sympathy I could get!

Oh no Teri! I hope your finger doesn't hurt, and heals right up.

Oh Wow! I've never sewn through anything worse than the skin on the tips of my fingers. Take care of yourself.
