My daughter called me from Anchorage last evening very excited about seeing her first moose. She said "It came right up into the base and was munching on a tree". She was amazed to see that it was way bigger than the white tailed deer that frolic in our yard.
This shot gave me the creeps as it looks like the moose may have noticed my daughter shooting photos from her car. Luckily, her friend was cautious enough to get them out of there. Although, we have various wildlife running through our yard, we don't have moose, bears, or wolves in Ohio. Luckily, I think someone has briefed her on their danger and how to act around them.More later...
