The day started out pouring rain. I was in a gloomy mood as the day looked. I was thinking about how difficult it would be to get photos if it was pouring and we had the thunderstorms that were predicted at 60%. But the day turned out fine. It cleared up around noon, and by the time of the wedding, the sun was shining. Everyone had a great time. And although I belly-ached the whole time preparing for this, it was worth the effort in the end. I took lots of photos and many others did to. I had a slide show of the wedding playing at the reception, and everyone uploaded their cards to my flash drive, which I left laying somewhere. Luckily, I didn't delete their cards, so I hope I can re-aquire the photos. That was my new 16 gb flashdrive. I could back up my whole hard drive on it and carry it on my purse as an extra backup. Oh well, I'm sure with everyone taking photos, I will be able to get extras. Iwould have taken my own photos anyway, but it pretty much ticked me off that a photographer would cancel the day before a wedding, which just added more pressure to me to get things right. It turned out okay in the end though.
What I should have done was take the week off AFTER the wedding. Today I have to catch up on laundry so I have something to wear to work tomorrow, and I really need a nap.

What a beautiful couple! I am glad the wedding went well. How do you copy photos from cards onto a flash drive?
Despite all the craziness, it looks so sweet and they look so happy. So happy the weather turned out OK.
Put your feet up for a couple of hours, call for take out for dinner, and just....breathe.
They look beautiful!
I can't believe a photographer would cancel one day before! I predict he won't be in business long.
They look gorgeous. I'll bet you are tired.
sleep with a smile
Now you can breath easier anyway and that should make it a bit better.
