This story broke a few weeks ago. Recently, a conference call occured between an NEA/White house representitive and a group of hand picked artists discussing what they can do "legally" to "help" Obama using their art. I listened to the audio, and saw an interview with the one artist that stepped forward and told because he knew that it didn't sound 'right'.
The rest of them? Probably taking the money out of our pockets so they can make their 'art'.
