QUILTS IN MOVIES

A few years ago a movie called Christmas with the Kranks came out. When it came out on DVD, I bought it because of this one scene with this quilt
It is shown in this scene, and then again in another when Tim Allen runs by it
At the time I worked something up on EQ5. Of course I never got around to it. So when I recently got new office space, I thought that a quilt like this would look great on the wall by my desk. For some reason, my eq files don't open. It's a glitch with just those files of course. So I had to start over again. With fresh eyes I see that this is just a Lady of the Lake block turned on point
That's easy enough. The photo of the quilt taken with a camera isn't great. I can kind of get the idea of how it is laid out. I can kind of get a feel of how the blocks are turned, but I'm not sure of how many. There are only 4 HST surrounding the center block instead of 5 like my EQ. I'm going to have to thangle this. But playing around with this I came up with this alternate idea of layout
I even like this layout better. This is my weekend project. I'll let you know if I get anywhere with it..

Excuse me, this is your WEEKEND project?! Holy hell, that would take me weeks, just to make the HSTs! Are you making it little?

When I looked at the first picture you posted I thought, "hmmm... I have a bit of wall, just inside the front hall..." It's sure pretty, I'm sure you'll do it justice.
