HOW ABOUT FROM FAR AWAY?

First off, if I had bothered to research the class and known what we would do.. I would have tried harder to find a photo instead of use a painting for my project.

Other than the fact that I shouldn't have messed with a famous masterpiece, I brought the blue thinking that I would do the turban.  Instead, we did the whole face with a four step gradation.

But on the positive side, it was a learning experience, and I will be able to put it to good use, once I use the proper subject.  Now that I look at it the shadowed areas are all wrong.  But that is the way the image turned out in the posterized copy.  I'll finish it for the practice.
