ANOTHER UFO DOWN

This time the UFO is a knitting project.  I have just been dragging my feet when it came to blocking it.  I finished it when my arm was still in a sling, and I am just to the point that I can do a little more reaching so that I could put in the blocking wires.

It is called a  HAP SHAWL and is a traditional pattern. 
I haven't done a whole lot in the quilting department.  I went back to work a couple of weeks ago, and I just want to sit when I get home.  I can knit when I sit. 

But I do have a bunch of UFO's to finish in the sewing room to.  Things that I couldn't get finished before my surgery.  Who knows, maybe I will actually get a jump on Christmas this year.. although, I DID read that A GIANT ASTEROID   is heading towards earth in around 11 months.. so maybe I won't bother.  It would be just like it.. I would do nothing, figuring the world is going to end anyway, and then the world wouldn't end, and at the last minute, I would be hurrying to get Christmas gifts finished.. But I do that every year, so I guess this would just be another excuse. 

I hope that you all are doing well.  My prayers go out to everyone in the midwest who has suffered through all of the recent tornadoes.  The price we pay for having a mild winter I guess.
