It was touch and go.  I wanted to go to Miller's Dry Goods, but last evening we were being pummeled by snow.  Today I could see the road, and saw that places east of us were getting most of it, so we started down.  We went to Lehmans
Which was nearly empty of customers.  If you have ever been here, you know how unusual this is.  The is just the kitchenware area.
I wanted a new Butter Bell
I bought a hand thrown  one at a craft show, and as it got older it started to smell musty.  I didn't feel good about using it.  I decided to go with a marble one
I prefer chemical free butter to margarine.  But as you know, it is hard to spread cold butter on a piece of toast. This will hold 1/2 cup of soft butter. I didn't take a photo, but there is a bell shaped bowl on the other side of the lid that holds the butter.   You put water in the bottom, invert the butter into the water to create a seal, and the butter will stay soft and fresh for up to a month.  (it would be used before this anyway) You have to change the water every other day.

Lehman's has unusual things.  You don't see these often;
Yes, a pig shaped grill.

They also have a good assortment of pedal vehicles.  Very cute, and probably expensive.

I bought some  cream for dry hands, elbows, heels. It is "night" cream.  Probably because although it makes dry areas feel soft.. it smells like Vicks Vapo rub.

I hope that you all have a great weekend!  I actually plan on getting things done!
