It only took me a couple of hours to make 338 2" HST's. Of course I have to tear off all of the paper and iron them, so that will take a while longer. I am doing my half of our guild raffle quilt.
It will be made of all hand dyed fabrics and it is an easy pattern that I got from the Thangle people.
It is a really easy design, but I think it packs a lot of punch. I wouldn't mind winning it. There even was enough fabric left over to hopefully make a miniature quilt of the same design. Which would go to some lucky ticket seller. So, I have actually got some quilting related things done this weekend. Plus I am working on a messenger bag (knit) from the book "Knitting for Peace".
Also some news,
GRACE was juried into the AQS show in Paducah. So this quilt will be hanging in the show, while my other miniature
THERE AND BACK AGAIN will be hanging in the museum. I am a happy camper.

That is an impressive set of half square triangles! I am going to have to give Thangles a try. I love the look of the quilt, too.
I have always admired the Hunter's Star design. The quilt is lovely, the palette is so pleasing.
Did you see the roll of Thangles on the Trader's Village blog? Terri S. has them for swap. I swapped batiks for the DWR templates she had--you should check them out.
That is such a beautiful quilt - great pattern, great colors, well executed. I wouldn't mind winning it at all.
The quilt is gorgeous.
Well, you've definitely inspired me to finally make this one. I bought the thangles at Paducah last year. And finally have enough batiks to do it. I saw this in Fons and Porter a year or so ago.
Yours is lots prettier than theirs!
simply beautiful! and congratulations on paducah!
Congratulations on your mini quilts in Paducah. You should be a happy camper. They are wonderful!
I don't know why anyone would try to do HSTs without Thangles.
I've never tried thangles, but that quilt certainly makes me want to!
