ANOTHER WEEK IN THE CAN

Hi everyone!! This is a terrible photo, but this is the center section of a second Swallowtail Shawl. It is a navy laceweight, and where the nupps are, I plan to put beads. I'm going to let my daughter use it to cover her shoulders when she attends the Marine Ball in November.

I have also started the Mystery shawl 4. I haven't had time to sit down and concentrate on it, so I don't have enough done for a picture yet.

I have been taking photos and making lists of my daughter's things, because someone is coming in a couple of weeks to pick it up and take it out to her. I thought of doing a photo inventory, and mailing it to her so she knows what she should be getting. Then I can finally start working on my new studio. I decided on the med-dark gold Sherwin Williams paint for the walls. Looks warm and comforting with the light on it, and cozy in the evening. Once all of the furniture is out, we also need to re-finish the oak floor, as the chair at my daughter's computer had no wheels, and there are some nice deep scratches on the floor.
I can't even express how excited I am to get a room upstairs where there is some light. I'm really looking forward to it.

Once I finally have some space to work in, I am going to enjoy sewing. I have so much stuff, and nowhere to put it. I don't plan to bring any of my fabric upstairs. I am going to leave it all stored downstairs and just work on current projects when I am in my studio.. no clutter and a clear mind. It will be wonderful. Have a good week! Hopefully, it won't be another week until you hear from me again. I will try to stir up something interesting to tell you about.
