NEW TO MY LIBRARY

I just got these two books. A re-publish of Barbara Brackmans Encyclopedia of Applique. I think it is always a good idea to have as many reference books as you can for ideas. I love traditional inspired quilts with a modern twist, and I like to have a lot of things to look through for ideas.
The other book is called Flip Flop Paper Piecing. I can already paper piece, but obviously Mary Kay understands more about it than I do because she made this miniature quilt

I've seen this quilt, and those tiny blocks around the border are only about 1/2" square. very detailed. I want to know what she knows. There ya go.
