SUNDAY

I got a few things done this weekend.  Groceries, Laundry, and I actually sat down to sew.  I got some spool blocks pieced, and all of the thangle strips ready.  So now all I have to do is ready each HST, and then I can piece the blocks.  I plan to put them all together next week. 

For Mother's day, I got a gift card to JoAnns from one daughter, and an Itunes card from the other.  So today I bought a magazine and a book, and downloaded about 10 episodes of Dr. Who for my Iphone.  I will admit that I never really knew anything about Dr. Who.  I stumbled across the show several months ago, and thought it was funny because of these crazy characters called the Darliks that looked like a poorly made robot with a appendage that looks like a toilet plunger.  They kept saying "you will be EXTERMINATED".  It was like looking at an accident.. you don't want to look, but you can't help it.  I kept going back to watch it, and fell in love, just in time for David Tennant, the Doctor, to leave the show.  I really like the new doctor and his companion Amy Pond. And I am trying to get caught up.

That's about it, normal weekend, didn't do a lot of running around, so I actually feel like I got something accomplished.  I hope that the week goes fast!
